Mountain Orthotic Lab was founded in 1993 by Greg Hoffmann, a Certified
Pedorthist and head instructor at MasterFit University, the snowsports
industry’s boot fitter training centers. Greg’s lifetime
passion for making boots perfectly fit and compliment each skier's
individual abilities and anatomy is shared by the entire GMOL Pro
Staff.
GMOL boot techs are among the most accomplished in the industry.
They live and breathe snowsports—and ski and snowboard boots.
In addition to bootfitting at GMOL, they are immersed in the snowsports
scene, testing boots for Ski Press magazine, teaching boot fitting
techniques at MasterFit University, serving as PSIA examiners and
teaching skiing. At GMOL all our bootfitters are current or former
ski instruction professionals. We don’t just talk the talk,
we actually walk the walk.
Our goal at GMOL is simple: we want you to ski more comfortably
with less effort. We specialize in stance balancing and offer on-hill
analysis with video review. We have helped hundred's of people ski
and snowboard better by balancing their stance in their boots with
our exclusive techniques. We’ve worked magic for all our clients
from World Cup racers and professional ski instructors to entry level
skiers with foot pain they thought would never disappear.

boot selection. We carry everything from the new comfort fit “soft”
boots to full-on specialized race room stock. We are one of the few
shop with the equipment to grind boot soles and install under sole
lifters to optimize balance and performance. We even demo selected

Our staff and our location combine to create the most comprehensive
service center in the East. For the ultimate in convenience, GMOL
is located slopeside in the First Run Ski Shop at the base of the
Stratton Mountain lifts. We can work on your boots and have you back
on the slopes in a snap, continually refining the fit process until
