Holm learned to ski in the dark of the Republic of Cascadia, from his Pa and older brothers. His earliest ski memory is schreddin' straight down Chair 8 to his Ma. He has been skiing for 39 winters at various joints round the West and works to learn a thing or six each year. He has been a ski mechanic off and on for 13 years and generally an equipment nerd for as long as he can remember. He learned this summer that even ortho-surgeons use Dremel tools.
