A native of Seattle, Megen learned to ski in Cascade concrete. She started ski racing at age six and continued through college. After graduating, she began coaching ski racing and in 2009 moved to Bend, OR where she continues to coach for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation. Her “real job” was overseeing lift operations at Mt. Bachelor for 7 years. She's currently doing “real job” things at The Race Place, where the focus is – you guessed it - all things ski racing! When not on the mountain, Megen can be found in her garden, trail running, or camping with her husband and their blind cat Momo.
